Born and raised in Boston to parents from Trinidad and Tobago, Darryl’s connection to the Y began as a young person growing up near the Dorchester YMCA. His career has spanned youth development, behavioral health, and nonprofit leadership, including a decade at Children’s Services of Roxbury and most recently serving as Executive Director of Summer Search Boston. Throughout his career, he has focused on building strong teams, creating meaningful partnerships, and helping young people realize their potential.
Darryl looks forward to building on the Huntington Avenue Y’s legacy and creating more opportunities for individuals and families across Boston to thrive. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and extended family. He credits his faith, family, and community for shaping the leader he is today.
