Kaakpema Yelpaala is faculty director of the Future of Health Innovation Hub at the Yale School of Public Health, where he serves as a senior fellow and lecturer. A global entrepreneur and public health practitioner, Yelpaala has worked in the public and private sectors in the United States, sub-Saharan Africa, and the Caribbean. He is co-founder of InOn Health, which aims to improve access to care in the United States using digital communication channels and consumer insights that can better connect multicultural populations to healthcare services.
Yelpaala received his bachelor’s degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and his master of public health degree from the Yale School of Public Health.
