Co-founded in 2024, by Alexus Bond and Florence Edwards, Indigo Oyster Co. is a women owned and operated oyster farm in Yarmouth, Maine. We are weaving our Black and Asian identities into oyster culture from sea to table.

We've been best friends since we were 12. As we grew, our love of oysters grew until one day we decided to live the dream by founding Indigo Oyster Co.

Now, we grow oysters that we are proud of—bright, briny oysters steeped in culture, sustainability, and accessibility.

The farm is located in Yarmouth, Maine off of Lane’s Island.
